DEFEATING HUNGER

 
This is another part of the mission that IAF has set out to do — to teach skills in a way that empowers people to feed themselves and their children.
 
It’s a goal that is achievable when you set up a 500 square meter/ 905 square foot garden where you can grow rice. But this isn’t just any ordinary garden, but one where the rice grows in such a bounty, that not only can you feed a family for a year, but enough is produced to take it to the market and sell it.
 
This powerful concept will transform families and communities from hunger to hope—from barely surviving to flourishing.

A completely novel method of growing rice is used. Here’s how it works:
